Any American worth his or her culinary salt is at least familiar with the ambassadors of Thai-American cuisine: Pad Thai and Tom Yum Goong.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Meanwhile, Los Angeles serves as a home to countless cultures and ethnic groups, including the majority of Thai-Americans.  Home of the nation's only designated Thai Town, Thais and Thai-Americans sometimes even refer to LA as "Jungwat" or Province 77 (in addition to Thailand's 76), due to its large Thai-American population.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;So naturally, Thai (and Thai-influenced) cuisine in the Los Angeles area should all be of the highest quality and authenticity, right?
